Sesame cracker, in Vietnamese "Banh trang me" or "Banh da tom" is a typical Vietnamese cracker. It is a toasted rice paper, usually served with salads or added crumbled to some special Vietnamese dishes.
It is a thicker type of rice paper, often topped with black sesame and toasted. Vietnamese locals roast it on a small grill over an open fire without adding oil, turning it every few seconds. You can also microwave it or fry it in hot vegetable for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with salad, dishes or dip in a tasty sauce.
Ingredients: tapioca flour, rice flour 30%, white sesame seeds (25%), water and salt.
