Serundeng is een mengsel van geschaafde kokos, pinda's, gebakken uien en specerijen (onder andere koriander, trassi, komijn). In de Indonesische keuken wordt serundeng gebruikt om over o.a. rijst te strooien en zo de smaak en textuur van het gerecht te verrijken.
Serundeng is a mixture of shaved coconut, peanuts, fried onions and spices (including coriander, shrimp paste, cumin). In Indonesian cuisine, serundeng is used to sprinkle over rice, among other things, to enrich the flavor and texture of the dish.
